Sony Announces 13 New PlayStation VR Games In Development In Asia

Even Asia is on board with the impending VR revolution.

15 Things You Need To Know About PlayStation VR

Asia and Japan aren’t known for being on the cutting edge of technology any more – games developed in these territories are usually targeted at lower end platforms, such as handhelds and mobiles, and even when they release on consoles, they never target high end tech. So VR game development is not something you would expect to see Asian developers be on board with, right?

Well, Sony held a press conference today in Hong Kong, and that press conference should prove you wrong. They announced that there are 13 new PlayStation VR games in development in Asia, outside of Japan, and these games seem to run the full gamut of genres and game types. The 13 games that were announced are:

  • Stifled
  • O! My Genesis VR
  • The Occasional Encounter
  • Unearthing Mars
  • Mortal Blitz VR
  • The School: Swan Song
  • Ace Banana
  • Mixip
  • Kill X VR
  • Weeping Doll
  • Pixel Gear
  • Dying Reborn
  • Phantom World

The PlayStation VR will launch on October 13, for $399.
