Sony has confirmed that the white PlayStation 4 will be launching in the UK starting this weekend; you can pick it up at most retailers there, but for £350 instead of the £330 that the regular, black PS4s cost- yes, Sony is actually having the gall to charge more for a colored variant of their system. For exactly the same system, but white colored instead of black.
The package will include everything that your standard package does, but white where possible- so you’ll get a white 500GB PS4 console, a white DualShock 4 (albeit with a black touchpad on it) and all the additional packaging, cables, documentation, and so on, that comes with your regular PS4s.
This makes it the first time that the white PS4 will be available standalone, as previously, it was available only as part of bundles, most notably alongside the disappointing Destiny and DriveClub.
