Sony: Crossbuy feature restricted to Europe for the time being

Posted By | On 20th, Aug. 2012

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has revealed that the crossbuy feature that was announced at GamesCom will be restricted to one region – Europe – for now and he doesn’t have definitive plans as to when it will release in the other regions.

Crossbuy is a neat function which requires you to pay for only one version – PS3 or Vita, and you can get the other version for absolutely free.

He refused to reveal the sales of the system which has been a big talking point till now. He only said hthe demand is high and they are planning to release more games for the system in the future.

The PS Vita had a positive showing at GamesCom where a ton of titles were showcased for the system and the company seemed very interested to make sure that the games are in plentiful.

Thanks, Famitsu. Via Andrisang.
