Sony Executive On PS Vita’s Battery Life And PSN Store Redesign Rumors

Atindriya Bose - Country Manager (Sony Computer Entertainment )

We are back again! This time with information on the rumors surrounding the PlayStation Network and to ease off the biggest concern of PS Vita fans: The battery life.

In my massive chat with Atindriya Bose, PlayStation India, Country Manager I was able to ask him a few questions about the PlayStation brand.

One of them being the recent rumor about the PlayStation Network undergoing a major change in the design and functionality. Atindriya  denied about knowing such a development but he also admitted it is not something that he could comment on.

No, I have not heard anything like that. We have restored the whole PSN  but in terms of other things like design, functionality and everything that you are talking about is not something I can comment on.

I was also able to ask him about the battery life for the upcoming PlayStation Vita and shared my concerns about the PSP which initially had a very low battery life. Atindriya believes that this should not be a problem as it’s been taken care of.

See, it will have adequate battery life for someone to have a continuous gaming experience. Given the fact that we know that we are creating a personal, portable and a mobile gaming experience, the importance of battery life is very well understood. I think it is been taken care of.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt.com for more details on an upcoming PS3 exclusive tommorow and the full interview later this week.
