Sony has no plans to continue with the Resistance franchise in future

This news might come as a big blow to Resistance fans, as Sony has mentioned that they have no plans for the future of the franchise. It could mean no more Resistance games, even on PS3’s successor. It’s a bit sad, personally for me, as I loved Resistance 2.

“The Resistance Franchise has been exciting to work on, but as for the future we have no definitive plans,” Sony’s Daniel Brooke told OPMUK.

The last Resistance game was on the PS Vita, called Resistance: Burning Skies, and while the game was developed well by Sony Bend, it wasn’t something that would have been a system seller for the Vita. You can check out my review over here.

Are you disappointed with this news about Resistance franchise no longer being continued by Sony? Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
