Sony’s PlayStation brand is about as strong now as it’s ever been. The only other time that would probably rival it was the PS2 era when Sony reigned supreme, but considering the PS4 is on track to possibly match the PS2, coupled with all the subscription services and online features, it’s a different ball game. And it’s one that Sony hopes will bring you into their own direct store.

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment America announced that a new online PlayStation store would be launched. It’s where you can PS4 bundles as well as several boxed first party titles. You can check it out through here. As it stands now only PS4 related material is available (along with a headset). Presumably PS5 items will be there once we get to that point.

As a added bonus to those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus, members will be eligible for free, one day express shipping. If you’re in the PlayStation ecosystem, it’s probably not a bad way to shop.
