It’s hard to believe, but the PlayStation brand is about to pass a very significant birthday. For over half a century, the brand has been constantly at the top of the gaming industry and today the company’s President has a very special thank you to all the fans they’ve gained over the year.

Via the official PlayStation blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan wrote a very lengthy post that served as a shout out to the brand’s fans. He talked a lot about the past as PlayStation enters its 25th Anniversary and promises more to come. Check it out if you’ve been a fan of the systems.

The PlayStation 4 really helped Sony regain the top spot in the industry after a slight stumble with the PlayStation 3. Though even then, the company has always been in one of the leading positions in the industry. With the PlayStation 5 coming soon, Sony is in a prime spot going forward.
