Sony’s PS+ service is five years old. Originally debuting in 2010 as a paid tier to the PSN service, that provided subscribers with exclusive benefits such as automatic Trophy syncing, cloud backups for save files, automatic background downloads of updates, and free monthly games, the service has come a long way, with the most dramatic change to its structure probably having come in 2013, when it became necessary to be subscribed to PS+ to play online games on PS4- ala Xbox Live.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the service, Sony has announced that it will be presenting those users who have been subscribers of PS+ since its onset, with a special gift. But before you get too excited, thinking that it is a free game or some store credit, or even a theme, make sure you know what it is. Apparently, the free gift is “a personalized print of “everything you’ve achieved as a PlayStation Plus member.”

Hmmm… okay, can’t say I am ruing missing out on this one, much.
