It’s amazing how job offers on the official PlayStation listing gives us a fair idea on what the company is currently working on or is planning to work on in the future. Today we came across an interesting job listing for a Compatibility Tester on the official UK site for PlayStation jobs.
The listing for the Compatibility Tester possibly indicates that Sony are testing out a new firmware update. The candidate’s main responsibility includes checking released and newly submitted titles on firmware currently under development, testing new firmware features and report any/all problems found in firmware. This of course does not confirm that Sony are indeed working on a new firmware for the PlayStation 4 but there is a good chance since the job description is rather obvious.
