Sony registers a domain for a game called “Forsaken Souls”

Sony has registered a domain for a game called ‘Forsaken Souls’. The domain www.forsakensoulsthegame.com was registered by SCEA on May 11.

The domain info page was linked in a Tweet, which was further linked in a NeoGAF thread.

The most prominent speculation for this name is that it’s perhaps a sequel to Sony’s From Software developed 2009 hit RPG, Demon’s Souls. A “spiritual successor” to Demon’s Souls, developed by the very same From Software and published by Namco, was released last year and was met with immense critical acclaim.

However, it’s possible that it’s just a localised name for the recently revealed upcoming Vita game, Soul Sacrifice.

Hopefully, Sony will reveal this game at E3.

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.
