Will they also be changing their name?

New SCE Santa Monica PS4 Game

Sony’s premier in house development team, Sony Santa Monica- the folks behind the singularly remarkable God of War games, who also helped with games such as The Giant Swan, Journey, PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, as well as the upcoming The Order 1866 and The Last Guardian, are moving house.

Ahead of their PlayStation 4 project, the team will be moving out of Santa Monica and to a new location near LAX (the Los Angeles airport), to an office that is ‘four or five times the size.’ This facility will also include room for a motion capture studio, more conference rooms and an improved sound bay. In addition, this also gives the team the opportunity tio grow and expand further.

With the new space we will have more to offer,” studio head Shannon Studstill said.

Sony Santa Monica is currently working on something for the PlayStation 4. Whether it is a new God of War title, or something entirely new, remains to be seen.
