SoulCalibur 6 Siegfried

It wouldn’t be a proper SoulCalibur game without at least two dudes wielding massive swords. After Nightmare, Bandai Namco’s latest trailer for SoulCalibur 6 has confirmed that Siegfried will be returning as well. Check out the chivalrous young man as he wields the Zweihander to devastating effect.

Siegfried has had a rather tenuous relationship with the demonic Soul Edge. Seeking to resurrect his father, Siegfried struck a deal with the sword to help restore its powers. Eventually he morphed into the diabolical Nightmare but Siegfried was finally free of its grasp thanks to the efforts of Kilik and Xianghua (who wielded Soul Calibur itself).

Now Siegfried is on the path to redemption. In the trailer he declares that he will “not surrender to this nightmare”. Siegfried’s overall look is pretty detailed and as with previous games, his wide-sweeping attacks and pummels can still destroy foes.

SoulCalibur 6 doesn’t have a release date but it’s out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC later this year.
