New Kraków-based indie game developer Wooden Alien has announced its debut title—Space Prison. The game has been described by the studio as a turn-based survival brawler. Space Prison will be making its way to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S some time in 2023. Check out the trailer below.
According to Wooden Alien CEO Hubert Kubit, the gameplay in Space Prison hopes to combine survival and tactics-based gameplay with social dynamics. The game is set to feature a number of galactic gangs that the player can join, each sporting different gameplay styles and unique mechanics.
Players will also be able to customise their prison cell by collecting scraps and fancy furnishings, ranging from a crafting bench to storage in a hole hidden by posters.
Space Prison will also feature a social ladder system that will have players forming alliances and making enemies depending on how they interact with the various characters in the game.
