It’s Spidey day, everybody! We’ve been waiting for this day ever since Sony’s 2016 E3 press conference, and now the wallcrawler has slung his way onto our consoles with a bang. Millions are definitely playing the game already, but in case you’re not one of them, Sony has released a dramatic new launch trailer to celebrate the game’s release.

The trailer doesn’t show gameplay, but it does show Spidey going up against some of the biggest villains who will be featured in the game (who’ve already been revealed, so there’s no fear of spoilers if you’ve been following all the major Spider-Man coverage up until now). You can take a look at it below.

Insomniac have also revealed the first DLC suit that will be added to the game with October’s DLC episode, The Heist, as part of their launch livestream (which you can view below- the video is timestamped, so just hit play). It also shows the suit in action, but what its suit power might be, we don’t know yet (obviously that’s information that’s being saved for when the DLC actually releases). It’s been designed by the well-known illustrator and author Gabriele Dell’Otto, who’s worked with Marvel in the past as well.

Spider-Man is out now for PS4. Read our review here. Meanwhile, we also did a graphics analysis for the game, which you can read through here.
