During Sony’s ongoing PS5: The Future of Gaming showcase, Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was announced for the next-gen console. The footage sees Miles, who was shown to have gained Spider powers in the previous game, now donning the mantle of Spider-Man. Check it out below.

Along with standard web-slinging action, mirroring the acrobatic combat of the previous game, Miles can stun foes with bio-electric enemy. Though the overall aesthetic is very familiar, the visual quality is certainly a step-up from its predecessor. Plus, Miles’ Spider Suit looks incredibly sleek. The gameplay has been captured on the PlayStation 5, which makes us believe it to be real-time.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release in holiday 2020 for the PlayStation 5. In terms of a launch title, this is certainly a huge addition to Sony’s roster. Stay tuned for more details from Sony’s showcase. It seems that Insomniac has at least one more title in mind that’s worth paying attention to.
