Spider-Man Release Date Possibly Leaked by Retailer

Does whatever a Spider can, starting this Fall.

One of the biggest games due out on the PS4 this year is Spider-Man, the Insomniac Games led open world cinematic action adventure game based on the beloved Marvel hero. The game has looked stunning in all the showings we have seen for it so far, and there are many who simply cannot wait to get their hands on it.

Unfortunately, we have no indication of when the game is coming, other than a vague ‘2018’ release window. However, a retailer may have mistakenly spilled the beans on the game’s unannounced release date early. The retailer Cool Shop, who have a track record for being on the mark with this kind of thing, have listed the game with a September 28 2018 release date. Which is far too specific to be a placeholder, and also is on a Friday (which is when Sony releases its games).

It’s not confirmed yet, but it might just be the case- and if so, it will be the first time Sony has a major exclusive game going into the Holiday season since the PS4’s launch. Whoo!
