Thanks to Nintendo’s Splatoon 3-focused Direct presentation earlier this month, we’ve learned a great deal about the upcoming Switch-exclusive shooter, with extensive new details being revealed about its story mode and post-launch plans, co-op and PvP offerings, new additions in terms of maps and weapons, and much more.

Ahead of the game’s imminent launch next month, Nintendo will be giving players the chance to jump in and get a taste of its multiplayer offerings with the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere demo, which is due out in a few days’ time. Taking recently to Twitter, Nintendo provided another interesting tidbit of information on it, confirming that the demo will feature 26 weapons in total for players to try out. Incidentally, this will also include some all-new weapons, including the likes of the Splatana Wiper and the Tri-Stinger.

Splatoon 3 launches for the Nintendo Switch on September 9.
