Splatoon

Nintendo’s competitive multiplayer shooter Splatoon has received a new update which adds two new maps along with other features. You can check out the new maps thanks to a new video below. Just be prepared for lots of dancing.

The two new maps are Piranha Pit and Ancho-V Games. Other changes introduced with the update include players of the same skill being ranked more often in Regular Battle and Splatfest; adjustments to a variety of stages to prevent players from taking shortcuts in the various modes; fixing issues with Rainmaker mode; and adjustments for an overall better gaming experience, which is always nice.

Though a specific release time for the patch hasn’t been provided, there will be maintenance taking place from 4:50 PM to 6 PM PST. Look for it to drop somewhere around then.
