As Nintendo had indicated beforehand, the upcoming stage that is being added to Splatoon 2 will be the final new one to be thrown into the game large roster of maps. The final new stage is Skipper Pavillion, and now we know when it will be added to the game.
Update 4.1.0 for the game is due out next week, and it will be adding the stage to the game on October 2 (if you are in North America) and October 3 (if you are anywhere else in the world). The update will also add a “Booyah!” bomb, which you can increase your special gauge for by sending out the now iconic “Booyah” command that players use to communicate with each other.
As mentioned earlier this week, this doesn’t have to mean this is the end of new stages in Splatoon 2– Nintendo’s wording was careful enough that the possibility for older stages from Splatoon 1 being added to Splatoon 2 remains open.
Splatoon 2 is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
A new Special Weapon called the Booyah Bomb is coming to #Splatoon2. Once activated, charge it up faster by signaling “Booyah!” Teammates can also get a small bonus to their special meter with "Booyah!" rally cries of their own! Unleash it once it's charged for a big inksplosion! pic.twitter.com/3aQRJYcwzk
