Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call is the sequel to and expansion of the first Theatrhythm game that Square Enix released for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2012, celebrating the musical history of Final Fantasy. The second game, which will be the last of its kind, will be bigger and better, spanning the complete, lauded musical journey of the series.

To celebrate its upcoming launch later this year, Square Enix has announced a special contest- the ‘Legacy of Music’ contest invites all series music lovers to upload 1:30 long clips of themselves to Youtube, performing a piece from the series, with a sign stating their favorite Final Fantasy game.

Judged by the legendary Final Fantasy composer, Nobuo Uematsu, the Grand Prize winner of the contest will receive:

  • Complimentary trip for two to attend an upcoming DISTANT WORLDS: FINAL FANTASY concert
  • All of the official soundtracks for the numbered Final Fantasy titles
  • One FINAL FANTASY STATIC ARTS Mini Figure
  • Signed Collector’s Edition of the game
  • Signed THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL Limited Edition Japanese Nintendo 3DS System

Runners up will also be eligible to win prizes, so really, there’s nothing to lose, get to it! Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call launches exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS later this year.
