Square Enix’s long awaited HD refresh of the beloved, PlayStation 2 JRPG classic, Final Fantasy X (and it’s not so beloved sequel, Final Fantasy X-2), will finally be hitting western shores on March 18, 2014. To celebrate the release of the game, Square Enix have also confirmed a collector’s edition (pictured above).
Available exclusively from Square Enix’s online store, the bundle will retail for $80 and include a hardcover artbook that comprises the PlayStation 3 system version of the game, with over 40 pages of imagery from the stunning world of Spira. Alongside five lithographs of iconic artwork and characters, the packaging will also include a Final Fantasy X HD Remaster Original Soundtrack – with more than six hours of music set to the game’s most memorable moments on a Blu-ray Disc.
In addition to the collector’s edition, Square Enix also finally confirmed the Vita version of the game for western release too. It will retail as a 2-in-1 retail pack, and include Final Fantasy X HD on the cartridge, with a download voucher for X-2 HD included as well.
