We know Square Enix won’t be showcasing FInal Fantasy XV or Kingdom Hearts 3 at E3 this year, but they do have something else up their sleeves, apparently. IGN reports that at E3, Square Enix will be revealing a brand new ‘secret’ game.
The new game won’t be revealed at the press conference itself- as the image of the invitation above indicates, it will be revealed separately at a private event for the press. That doesn’t mean we won’t get to hear about it, though, since news about it should still break out.
As for what this title could be? Well, given that Square’s conference this year is largely going to focus on western games, we might be looking at something like a new Hitman game (we already know a new one is in development). It might be a new Thief too, but we just had the reboot launch last year (and it wasn’t received all that well either), so that one seems less likely.
