Square Enix seems to be teasing something, something that it is calling ‘secret’ itself- a brand new game reveal, perhaps, that is due to come on April 13th, if this site is any indication. Attempting to share the site’s URL is what reveals the (presumed) announcement date for whatever this is going to be.
As for what that will be, we don’t actually know yet. It could be anything from a new smartphone game 9which is likely, given Square Enix’s penchant for disappointing us, and their fascination with mobile games as of late- perhaps the two are related), or a brand new epic console JRPG. It could also be something exciting that is coming to the handhelds.
One thing is for sure, given that the site’s URL is Japanese, the announcement, whatever it is, will be Japan focused. What this means is that this is not going to be a new Eidos announcement (and anyway, Eidos already announced Deus Ex Mankind Divided earlier this week). Whatever this turns out to be, we will keep you posted.
