One of the most intriguing announcements to have come our way from TGS this year was the announcement of the survival shooter by Square, Left Alive. While the premise and genre of the game is in and of itself nothing new for most western audiences, the sheer talent that is behind this game is something for even the most jaded gamer to take notice of.
So, we have Metal Gear Solid artist Yoji Shinkawa, who is heading the art design for this game (Konami’s loss is Square’s gain?), Toshifumi Nabeshima, known for the Armored Core series, directing the title, and Takayuki Yanase, known for his mech design across works such as Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, designing the mechs in this game as well.
Whew, lad- that is one hefty all star cast if there ever was one. But the problem was we didn’t get to see much of the game. Square fixed that today by releasing a proper, full length trailer for the game.Left Alive launches on PC and PS4 next year- make sure to check out the full announcement trailer for the game below.
