Square Enix Will Open New Studio In Canada To Focus On Next Generation Of Consoles

Although still in the final stages of deciding precisely where in Canada the studio will be based, a new Square Enix studio will open there and will focus on preparation for the next generation of consoles. The Director of Eidos Montreal, a company owned by Square Enix, said “The new consoles from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo will require more attention and more staff. We want to prepare ourselves.”
