Netflix announced a game based on its popular show, Squid Game. Titled Squid Game Unleashed, the game was announced alongside a trailer during The Game Awards, and you can check it out below.
Squid Game Unleashed is slated for release on December 17, and will be available on Android and iOS. The game also acts as a sort of lead in for the next season of the show, which is set to be available on December 26.
In terms of gameplay, Squid Game Unleashed will seemingly be quite similar to the show, pitting players against each other in a series of deadly obstacle courses, with the final survivor being the lone victor. The gameplay also bears some resemblance with popular free-to-play title Fall Guys, which features a similar gameplay loop, but with less violence.
Players interested in checking Squid Game Unleashed out on release can pre-register for the game through their smartphone’s App Store of choice.
