Star Citizen Smashes Through The $53 Million Point

So much money. I feel a little sick just thinking about it.

Last month, August 18th to be specific, I told you about Cloud Imperium’s staggering success with the Kickstart platform as the crushed all of their established goals and soared straight past the 50 million dollar mark. Well I’m back again to bring you yet another update.

Smashing yet more records, Cloud Imperium’s Star Citizen has broken through the 53 million dollar point (seriously, how does a game even need this much?) and as per usual shows to sign of stopping any time soon.

But what does this massive amount of cold hard cash mean for the game and it’s ravenous community? Well it means the inclusion of the Independent Arbitrators Guild. And to be perfectly honest, I’m not even sure what that means. Something to do with in game legal disputes over resource holdings or something? It went straight over my head. If you know, use the comments section to shout out.

Up next however is the 54 million dollar mark. Once that’s been cracked there will be “ten distinct AI character roles” set in their own planetside environments. This includes Bartender, Doctor, Entertainer, Nurse, Sanitation Worker, Security Guard, Shopper, Tourist, Vagrant and Vandal. They will all be expressive and interactive as well as contributing factors to the games over all economy.

Crazy stuff!
