The Wii U exclusive Star Fox Zero is almost here – it finally launches this Friday after multiple delays, and a lot of purported development issues – and ahead of the launch of the Wii U’s last major exclusive (at least until Zelda finally gets a release date), Nintendo have launched a four minute long launch trailer for the game, showcasing Fox and his team’s newest adventure, as well as the curious Gamepad demonstration, Star Fox Guard.

Star Fox Zero may have looked rough at its initial unveiling, but it’s looking pretty sweet right now- the graphics are admittedly still a bit underwhelming, but the gameplay seems to be classic Star Fox, and it looks like Platinum Games’ pedigree has been put to some good use.

Star Fox Zero will launch exclusively on the Wii U on April 22. You can check out the launch trailer below. Are you going to get this game? Let us know in the comments section.
