Star Oceans 5

Star Ocean 5, the newest installment in Square Enix’s long running RPG saga, is all set to launch this year. As we near the game’s launch (scheduled for later this year in the west), we get to see more and more of it. For instance, take this brand new trailer of the game, which introduces us to the character of Brunelli, a 25 year old woman with all the fashion sense and hair style of the traditional tropey Japanese anime character.

That sounds probably sounds cringeworthy to a lot of you, but to Star Ocean fans, this is exactly what they wanted.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is all set to launch on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan later this year; a short while later, it will be launching in the west, too. In the west, the game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4.

Check out the new trailer below, and let us know what you think of it in the comments section below.
