So the good news is that they’ve finally made a new Star Trek game. The bad news, of course, is that it’s based on the new Star Trek, and figures Spock and Kirk prominently. Also, it’s meant to premier before the new film next year as a promotional tactic.
That being said, we’ve seen far worse looking promo tactics than this. The game seems to employ a Dead Space style of play, along with the usual third person, cover-based mechanics.
Time will tell exactly how good those flashy lasers and stun guns are though.
