Star Wars Battlefront 2 - Obi-Wan Kenobi

DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be receiving another new major update next week with Battle of Geonosis. We’ve been interested in this update for a while, since so far it has already introduced  General Grievous, the famous Droid leader. However, in a recent trailer, DICE have confirmed that one more hero will be joining the fray – Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Based on his days during the Clone Wars and modeled after Ewan McGregor’s portrayal of the character in Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan focuses on a highly defensive style of fighting. His Defensive Rush ability allows him to move forward while deflecting shots and dealing a final blow at any point. Restrictive Mind Trick lets you disrupt an enemy’s abilities, including dodging, for a short time.

All-Out Push is an offensive skill, and while it functions somewhat like Luke Skywalker’s ability, it differs somewhat in that it can be charged. Hold the corresponding button down and All-Out Push will have increased range. Battle of Geonosis is out on November 28th and appears to be fairly meaty at this point. We’ll find out how well it plays next week.
