Star Wars Battlefront 2 Campaign Trailer Ignites The Inferno

Watch Iden Versio battle against the Rebel scum and take revenge for the Emperor.

The newest campaign trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2, courtesy of DICE and EA, has been released. Much like the story blurbs we’ve received till now, it focuses on Inferno Squad commander Iden Versio and her battle with the Rebel Alliance following Emperor Palpatine’s demise.

Though displayed as “game engine” footage, we got a look at Endor in first person and TIE Fighter combat. Much of the gameplay also seems to fill the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, thus chronicling the 30 years that the Empire’s remnants fought the Rebels. Watch for a cameo by post-timeskip Princess Leia as well.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches on November 17th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The campaign has been handled primarily by Motive Studios while DICE handles the multiplayer and Criterion Games develops the starship combat. Preordering the game will net players three days early access among other benefits.
