Star Wars: Battlefront Confirmed for Xbox One and PlayStation 4

It has Hoth. That is all.

What we know: the next generation Star Wars video game that DICE will be working on in Frostbite 3 was finally revealed. It turned out to be Star Wars: Battlefront, which is good news given the amount of hype and hoopla for Battlefront 3. Of course, the lack of a “3” at the end makes on wonder if this is indeed a game with the same mechanics or just a reboot with only some of those same mechanics.

Or something else entirely. It’s set on Hoth at least. And that’s it for what we know. The gameplay, story, multiplayer modes and whether or not it indeed lives up to the previous Battlefront games is yet to be revealed, much less discussed. At least we know it’s coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Check out the trailer above for more details – or if you’re just a fan of Hoth. Stay tuned for more updates as they happen.
