EA is readying to showcase the first gameplay trailer for DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront at the Star Wars Celebration festival today. However, one Reddit user managed to click a banner for the game from EA’s official booth (seen above).
Granted, this is a Star Wars game so it’s expected that there’d be TIE fighters, X-Wings, AT-ATs, AT-STs and a Star Destroyer. However, the premise of the game has usually been as a shooter. Whether it will include space battles remains to be seen but vehicular battles – especially given DICE’s pedigree with the Battlefield franchise – seem a given.
Star Wars: Battlefront is a reboot of the series and will be releasing this holiday season for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on this leaked banner image?
