DICE is pushing a new patch for Star Wars: Battlefront on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The patch should actually already be lived following downtime for server maintenance so switch on your console and get it now.
Along with patching the Battle of Jakku DLC into the game (thus mitigating the need to download it separately and even allowing it to be deleted), the patch adds a new map – Twilight on Hoth for Walker Assault, Heroes vs. Villains, Drop Zone, Fighter Squadron and many other game modes. A new mission has also been added to Survival with the Survival in the Ice Caves. Turning Point also has some new maps in its playlist with Jundland Wastes, Forest of Endor, Outpost Beta and SoroSuub Centroplex.
