DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront had a good showing at E3 2015 this year, especially given all the pressure that was mounted to deliver after the initial in-engine showing. But an interesting point to note is that we had not seen the game running on PC. The main E3 reveal was running on PlayStation 4.
To tease the same and offer PC players something to be hyped about (and lord knows they need it following the Batman: Arkham Knight release debacle), DICE has released PC gameplay footage of a battle taking place on Tatooine. Check it out below.
Yes, the video is short but that’s kind of the point. We’re counting on DICE to reveal even more gameplay footage in the coming months leading up to release. At the very least, 60 FPS and sharper anti-aliasing appears to be a given at this point.
Star Wars Battlefront is set to release on November 17th in North America and November 20th in Europe for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned for more information as we near its release date.
