Star Wars Galactic Racer

After accidentally announcing it on Steam early, Secret Mode and Fuse Games have officially confirmed that Star Wars: Galactic Racer will launch on October 6th. The Standard Edition retails for $59.99 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, while the Deluxe Edition costs $79.99. A new trailer outlines the latter’s bonuses, but the ten-second gameplay montage at the start is the real appeal.

Since Galactic Racer won’t feature a Season Pass, the Deluxe Edition instead includes three Repulsorcrafts – the Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder, the Kor Sarun: Ciza T speeder bike, and the Kor Sarun: Rak S skim speeder. You also get a Deluxe Livery Pack to decorate your vehicles with unique designs and a Deluxe Player Banner Pack with an exclusive insignia and background.

It also provides access to three “unique” Arcade events, which we’re yet to learn about. On top of all this, you get a digital art book with new art for the various characters, locations, and vehicles appearing in the game. And those who pick up the physical version also net a Steelcase with a sleeve.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Star Wars without other physical merchandise, hence the $159.99 Collector’s Edition. It features the Deluxe Edition upgrade, Steelcase with a custom cover, and a physical version of the art book alongside two pilot patches, a physical banner for Galactic League champion (and story nemesis) Kestar Bool, and a physical Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder model.
