It’s not uncommon to see games using yellow paint on interactable objects and environmental elements as a navigational guidance tool for players, and though there are arguments to be made both for and against its necessity, it looks like the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws is going to try and provide at least some sort of a solution for those looking for one.

As reported by PC Gamer, Ubisoft has confirmed that the upcoming open world title’s Explorer Mode will let you toggle off “guiding color on core navigational elements” in the environments. Explorer Modes have been offered in Ubisoft open world titles for a few years now, with players being given the option to tone down the guidance provided by games in favour of more organic exploration, though past games’ Explorer options did not include a toggle for guiding yellow paint.

We recently also had the chance to check out over three hours of hands-off gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws. Check out our impressions through here.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
