Day 2 of Xbox @ Gamescom 2024 kicked off with Massive Entertainment’s Star Wars Outlaws, who presented the launch trailer for the open-world sci-fi action RPG. It sees scoundrel Kay Vess getting into some nasty business, and unfortunately, the only way out is to pull off the biggest heist in the Outer Rim system. Check it out below.

Star Wars Outlaws features five planets and moons to traverse, but they won’t be available immediately. After Kay crashlands on Toshara and gets her bearings, the universe opens up, allowing one to explore freely. They can work for (and betray) various Syndicates, recruit different Specialists, or engage in the many World Events and emergent events in each world.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with Gold and Ultimate owners receiving access on August 27th. Reviews go live on August 26th, so stay tuned for impressions in the coming days.
