A new gameplay trailer is live for Massive Entertainment’s Star Wars Outlaws, showcasing gorgeous locales and space exploration. However, it also highlights Nvidia’s RTX technology, primarily DLSS 3.5 with Ray Construction. Check it out below.

Ray Reconstruction effectively “enhances” Nvidia’s ray tracing with AI. Though it’s a little hard to make out in the first comparison, the second – showcasing a ship interior – showcases superior natural lighting with Ray Reconstruction enabled. Furthermore, there’s no shimmering compared to regular ray tracing.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30th for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. Along with Nvidia DLSS 3.5, Ray Tracing and Ray Construction, it will also support Nvidia Reflex. It will receive an update at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th alongside other upcoming titles like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, perhaps a deeper look at gameplay.
