NOTE: There are spoilers ahead for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Star Wars Outlaws is set to step away from the usual Jedi-Sith affairs stories in the universe tend to focus on more often than not and instead offer a heist-fueled scoundrel fantasy set in the galaxy’s Outer Rim. Protagonist Kay Vess will be crossing paths with some of the galaxy’s biggest outlaws during her journey, and while a number of these characters have been created for the game from scratch, there are, of course, also going to be some that Star Wars fans will be quite familiar with.

We’ve known for a while, for instance, that Jabba the Hutt is going to have a role to play in Star Wars Outlaws, though it’s now been confirmed that he will be joined by another on-screen Star Wars criminal mastermind. In a recently published preview, Game Informer has revealed that Solo: A Star Wars Story’s Lady Qi’ra, who was played by Emilia Clarke, will also be present in the game.

Qi’ra started out as a young Han Solo’s love interest in Solo, but by the end of the film, she was confirmed to be an outlaw working for the syndicate Crimson Dawn under its leader, former Sith Maul. Eventually, Qi’ra goes on to lead Crimson Dawn herself, which is the role she will be playing in Star Wars Outlaws as well.

The Game Informer preview’s author, Brian Shea, has also confirmed on Twitter that Qi’ra will not be played by Emilia Clarke in Star Wars Outlaws, though it’s currently unknown exactly who she is being played by.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
