Ubisoft’s latest trailer for Star Wars Outlaws is live, diving deeper into the setting and story. Though revealed by the Japanese version’s description earlier today, it’s now official – Massive Entertainment’s action-adventure game will launch on August 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

The trailer sees Sliro, a crime boss, meeting with underworld organizations like the Pykes, Crimson Dawn, and Hutts. With the Empire busy facing the Rebellion, it’s a golden age for crime. Of course, outlaw scoundrel Kay Vess is only interested in living free, even if she continually earns the ire of criminals like Jabba the Hutt.

At one point, Kay must sneak into Sliro’s mansion to steal his treasure and runs into what seems to be Han Solo… or at least, the legendary smuggler’s body encased in carbonite- unless it’s some other poor soul that’s met that fate, which isn’t outside the realm of possibility. Other footage showcases her journey to the Outer Rim and a hunter tasked with bringing Kay to Sliro.

Star Wars Outlaws will feature multiple planets, each the size of two to three zones in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Pre-orders are available now, so stay tuned for more details.
