Star Wars: The Old Republic Going Free-To-Play On November 15th

EA have  announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic Free-to-Play option will be going live on November 15, 2012.

This option will be available across all regions where the game is available. The Free-to-Play option will allows players to jump directly in to all of the class storylines, through to Level 50 at no extra charge and introduces the new Cartel Market, as we reported earlier in a blog post by the lead designer Damion Schubert.

The press release also confirms that any paying subscribers at the launch of the Free-to-Play option on November 15th will be given all of the Complimentary Cartel Coins currently listed on the Cartel Coin Ledger page. They will also be given 250 Complimentary Cartel Coins.

The developers have also released a new video which shows the features that this Free 2 Play option brings along.

Whats more? The Rewards Program has also been extended.  For users who have cancelled their accounts, decide to  reactivate their subscription by December 20, 2012, 11:59am CDT will be granted Complimentary Cartel Coins for months prior to November 15, 2012.
