Activision Blizzard has released a new trailer for the upcoming Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. It focuses on Sarah Kerrigan and her quest for vengeance and wholesale genocide while leading the Zerg to victory against the humans. So naturally it would be named “Vengeance”.
Starcraft is one of Blizzard’s most revered franchises ever, and one of the best real time strategy games of all time. With Starcraft 2, Blizzard sought to divide the main game into three parts to capture the scope of the epic conflict unfolding. Wings of Liberty focused on the humans’ side of the conflict; now part two, Heart of the Swarm, will focus on the opposing forces of the Zerg.
Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm will release on March 12th for PC; players can head here to pre-purchase the game and get in on the action early. Considering the excellent reviews that its predecessor saw, we expect the second part to be equally compelling.
