Starcraft 2 TV Spot Ups The Hype, Just In Case You Haven’t Been Paying Attention

Posted By | On 12th, Jun. 2010

Yeah, we totally need to be more hyped for the upcoming Starcraft 2. The long awaited sequel to what is widely considered to be the greatest RTS title ever created has been more than a decade in coming, but now that it’s almost here, the anticipation is getting unbearable.

Blizzard aren’t really helping matters with this TV spot. Showing off a montage of scenes from the game’s story in cinematic format, interlaced with a cliched but totally apt in this situation text interlay of ‘the wait is over,’ this ad makes we wanna sell all my consoles and games if I could only get this game NOW.

Starcraft II launches worldwide on Juky 27, exclusively for the PC. The first game in the Starcraft II series will be called Wings of Liberty. Two more expansions, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void, will follow afterwards.
