Microsoft has announced that it is launching console wraps for the Xbox Series X, allowing players to customise their current-gen console. Kicking things off is the announcement of an Xbox Series X console wrap featuring a Starfield design. The Starfield design console wrap has been created to pair quite well with the game’s limited edition Xbox Wireless Controller and headset, which were unveiled back in June.
The console wrap has been designed specifically for the Xbox Series X, and has plenty of clearance for vents, as well as small feet at the bottom of the wrap to ensure proper airflow throughout the console for the sake of keeping it cool. While the outside of the wrap has been made with layered high-tech fabric, the inside has been printed with silicon designs to ensure that the wrap doesn’t move around.
Xbox has also announced other console wrap designs, including a woodland camo-inspired pattern, as well as an Arctic camo-inspired gray pattern. These wraps feature soft microfiber on the outside, and a silicon camo pattern for the inner layer.
The Starfield Xbox Series X wrap is slated for release on October 18, and will be priced at $49.99. The Arctic Camo and Mineral Camo wraps are slated for release on November 10, and will be priced at $44.99 each.
