Spiders delivered probably their best game to date with Greedfall in 2019, and not long afterward, announced their next project. Steelrising is an action RPG that will put a unique steampunk twist on the French Revolution, and its unique setting has caught the attention of quite a few people.
If you’re among the people who’re looking forward to trying out the game, you’re going to have the chance to do so. Spiders are going to hold a playtesting round for Steelrising in early March on Steam that will last between 7-10 days. The exact details or the dates for the playtesting rounds are going to be confirmed later on, and anyone who signs up will, of course, have to sign a standard NDA. You can sign up through here.
Steelrising is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but has no set release date. Meanwhile, Greedfall is also going to be released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with additional new content promised as well. Read more on that through here.
