Steep Receiving Road to the Olympics Expansion in December

New events and virtual Winter Olympic Games enroute.

Remember Ubisoft’s open world Winter sports title Steep? It will be receiving a new expansion this December with Road to the Olympics.

This DLC features a variety of different Olympic events and doesn’t seem all that bad. Overall, the experience seems to emphasize the more sporting aspects of the game with a particular focus on the 2018 Winter Olympics taking place in Pyeongchang, South Korea. New events include slalom and skicross, thus ensuring more competitive aspects for Steep’s gameplay.

Interestingly, there will be a virtual Winter Olympic Games for players to take part in with Road to the Olympics. The expansion will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year so there’s plenty of time to prepare.

Steep released in December 2016 and despite bugs and other issues, it actually performed better than expected in sales. What are your thoughts on Road to the Olympics? Let us know in the comments below.
