We already knew that Steins;Gate Elite’s western release will be pushed into next year, after its delay in Japan earlier this year. Now we know exactly when next year we can get our hands on the new interactive anime/visual novel hybrid retelling of the beloved original. Spike Chunsoft confirmed on Twitter today that Steins;Gate Elite launches for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 19 in North America and Europe.

The publisher also confirmed a Steins;Gate Elite Limited Edition, which will come with a cloth poster, a 100+ page hardcover storyboard book, and a custom outer box— things that fans of the science fiction visual novel will be sure to want to get for themselves.

Steins;Gate Elite seeks to evolve the visual novel genre by making it an interactive, playable cartoon. It takes scenes from the anime, as well as new ones made specifically for the game itself, and uses them to retell the story of the original title. Thankfully, if you haven’t jumped into the series already, you are just a few months away from the release of Elite in the west.
