Street Fighter 5 is now available, starting today. The fifth entry in Capcom’s long running flagship fighting game series promises to bring fighting games into the next generation, providing the most competitively balanced entry in the series yet, while also providing newcomers with an excellent point to jump in.

Street Fighter 5 also marks a new beginning for Capcom, as the publisher promises that they will not release any updated or enhanced versions of the game, as they have in the past- the version of Street Fighter 5 launched today will be the only one players will need all generation. Further updates and and additions to the game will be made via post launch support for the title, including new characters (the first of which will be made available as early as next month), mechanical tweaks, balance updates, and a brand new cinematic story mode that will be made available in June this year.

Street Fighter 5 is available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
